All people who are resident in Romania can donate blood if the following conditions must be met:
you can donate blood if you have between 18 and 60 years old;
you can donate blood if you have a weight greater than 50 kg;
you can donate blood if you have a regular pulse 60/100 beats per minute;
you can donate blood if you have a systolic blood pressure between 100 and 180 mm Hg;
you can donate blood, in case you had a surgery, only 6 months later;
you can donate blood if you are not pregnant;
you can donate blood if you have not menstrual cycle;
you can donate blood if you do not use drugs;
you can donate blood if you did not drink 48 hours before the day of donation;
you can donate blood if you did not eat greasy foods 48 hours before the day of donation;
You can donate blood if you do not use medicines for the latest diseases:
Hypertension
Cardiac disease
Renal disease
Mental illness
Liver disease
Endocrine disease
You can donate blood if you do not have and you never did not have the following disease:
All kind of hepatitis
TB
Syphilis
Malaria
Epilepsy and neurological diseases
Mentally disturbed
Brucellosis
Ulcer
Diabetes mellitus
Cardiac disease
Skin diseases like psoriasis and vitiligo
Myopia over -6 dioptres
Cancer.
